In an attempt to stop the spreading of the novel coronavirus related Covid-19 disease, Austrian Chancellor announced on 10 March to close all state museums, the Vienna State Opera and other federal buildings. All public indoor gatherings with over 100 people and outdoor gatherings with 500 people have been banned and the population has been advised to reduce their social contacts.
